Berlin to Copenhagen interesting and okay

This tour could have been so much better if we had better bikes that were better maintained. Additionally, we had to convert all the gpx files to Ride with GPS ourselves. The routes were good but it would have been nice if more places to stop and eat or grab something were indicated along the way. Also more things to see should have been available. The books and maps were cumbersome.

Danube Delights: Biking through Four Countries
This is my second tour through biketours.com, and it was incredible. I've never done a bike and boat tour, but I would absolutely do it again. It was wonderful to unpack and have the same room to come back to every day. We did May 17-24th 2026, and the weather was outstanding; sunny and 75 degrees. I loved the format of the itinerary as we would ride in the country and alternate with visting a city the next day. The amount of architecture and history you will see in one week is truly breathtaking. Cycling through the Austrian countryside, particularly Wachau, was dreamy as well. I highly recommend this tour on e-bike if you want to have a more relaxing time, but the Danube cycle path is very flat and easy for regular bikes too. One of the highlights was seeing a classical music concert at Schonbrunn Palace in Vienna. Wow, wow, wow! Food on the ship was good, and the tour guide's daily brief and visual slides before the ride were excellent. They have an app called Guibo that provides very good GPS navigation of the route with particular stops of interest marked.

Palace of Versailles Paris Full Day Bike Tour with Picnic
What a wonderful way to experience an incredible part of history to truly get the sense of scale, grandeur and beauty. So much fun had by our family to experience the local market having a personalised & guided tour of all that Versailles has to offer with its amazing palace beating the queues, having the various rooms explained by our amazing guide, the the beauty of a picnic lunch in the shade of the grand canal & onto to see the beautiful gardens. So easy having been met at the train in Paris - we will be doing this tour again!

Great Crete Trip
Aegean Discovery: Cycling through Eastern Crete
Well-curated trip with right balance of gorgeous and varied scenery (mountains, orchards, seaside/ocean views), archeological sites, daily distances, and elevation changes. Bicycles were in tip-top shape to tackle hills and valleys, and routes were easy to follow with the Ride with GPS. Accommodations were well above average for 3 star hotels, and breakfast offerings (especially Greek yogurt with preserved fruits) were divine. Only small glitches on the time of bike delivery/outfitting on day 1.

Our family of six has an amazing day with Derek. He personalized the tour based on our interests and made sure we had plenty of opportunities for snacks and drinks. We rode about 20 miles over 4 hours at a pace that was very doable for us. If you are considering booking this, do it!

Amazing trip!
Medieval Villages of Catalonia
Absolutely wonderful tour along the Costa Brava. Daniel was an amazing host - incredibly responsive, attentive, and helpful (he swapped out two of our cyclist's bikes for e-bikes in the middle of the trip). I would say that the destinations were, at times, better than the routes themselves. The mediterranean sea was STUNNING, as were the medieval villages, but the routes took us through dry, hot landscapes. The final day was also a highlight - summiting a famous girona cycling route to Els Angels. The routes always felt safe and very doable (in terms of distance and difficulty). I would recommend an e-bike as there were plenty of rolling hills, and very high elevation gain on the final day. Highly recommend this trip to anyone!

Fields of dreams!!
Piedmont Region: The Italian Garden of Eden
The itinerary had a few towns but most was on Beautiful paths and roads through farm lands and vineyards. Wheat, rice, poplars, grapes, poppies and roses!! So pretty! The hotels were good in terms of services but an upgrades option would be nice, as well. Food and wine amazing!!!
The difficulty of the trip was as expected - on the hard side- but e-bikes made it much easier. It was super hot when we were there even though it was early summer!
The ride from La Mora to Barolo was one of the best I have ever been on!- Countries included in this tour?

One piece of constructive feedback, in general terms and then in specifics:
Our group of 24, while fit and capable, is a little older and a little more interested in historical background and local flavor. Our interest is more on the "tour" side of bike tour. Our guides did not really pick up on that. They were more on the "bike" side of bide tour and a little more focused on simply getting us from point to point. They were knowledgeable, friendly and great to be around, but maybe not ideally matched for our group.
This played out on the last day, our climb of Els Angeles. This is a significant effort and many of us were looking forward to, embraced and attacked the challenge. Our guides, however, did not handle the situation in regard to those in our group who clearly were going to make it to the top. One of our group, on a standard bike, struggled, overheated and ended up walking most of the way. Our sweeper, on an e-bike, was then forced to also push her heavy e-bike up the mountain to stay with him. All while our two guides waited at the top. Clearly on that day, one of the guides should have been the sweeper. At the very least, having summited, one of the guides should have descended and taken over for the sweeper.
There was nothing to be done for the struggling gentleman pushing his bike uphill - it was a hot day and he overheated. He is fit and generally capable, but was having a rough time that day. However, better process from the guides would have prevented our other person from having to push her e-bike up the mountain.- What was the date of your tour?

Fantastic trip!
Balkan Treasures
The rides, hotels, shuttles, bikes and local trip coordinator were all great. The hotels were beyond our expectations. We felt that we had an amazing trip for a very reasonable price. We bought our own bike mirrors which we were very pleased to have since it was only the two of us riding together and sometimes the traffic was a bit tricky.

Wilmington One Tree Hill E-Bike Tour
I don't even know where to start. This tour was everything. The beautiful scenery and seeing all the OTH sites with Eric at the helm was one of the coolest experiences in my life.
My 17-year-old daughter and I came to Wilmington for OTH, and would not have gotten to see or experience all the things like we did on this tour. If you're a die-hard OTH fan, you HAVE to do this. It was definitely my favorite part of the whole vacation!
Eric was so fantastic; his enthusiastic personality and passion really came through and made this a memory that will last a lifetime. He brought fun props and took a bunch of pictures and videos and sent them to us!
Eric, thank you for this special day! You are awesome!

Post college graduation trip
Innsbruck to Salzburg: Through the Alps Along River Cycle Trails
This was a fantastic trip for two families - one had prior bike trip experience and one was new to the bike tour world. We flew into Munich and spent a day exploring prior to training to Innsbruck. We were super fortunate with the weather as it had snowed in Innsbruck the week prior but we had a full week of sun with only a few showers on the rest day in Zell am See. Picking up the bikes in Innsbruck was easy - Chris at Crazybikez made sure that everyone had a good fit and provided us with the repair kit. The bikes are touring bikes - comfortable, but nothing speedy. I wouldn't want to try and climb hills for extended periods with them. Aside from a single flat on the last day, they performed admirably. When you check in at the hotel, the group was usually listed as BestSeller Reiser instead of the family name. All the hotels were enjoyable with easy bike storage, yummy breakfast, and the luggage transfer went off without incident. At each hotel, expect to pay a per person tourism tax - usually about 4 euro per person. I strongly encourage using the provided GPS routes as opposed to the guidebook for active routing, but the book does provide some information for interesting side trips. Chris told us to visit the town of Hall the first day and the Swarovski Crystal Museum. Take the time to ride up to Mayrhofen on day 2 prior to the transfer from Zell am Ziller to Krimml. The gorges and cave between Zell am See and Lofer were fun to explore. Make sure to take advantage of the various SummerCards that the hotels will provide. In Krimml it gets you into the waterfalls, in Zell am See - the boat tour, gondola to the top of the ski area, and the beach park, in Lofer - the gondola. The extra day in Zell am See is well worth it. We also spent an extra day at the end to explore Salzburg before taking the train back to Munich. We never had to reach out to the local support but the guidebook packets were received at the hotel in Innsbruck provided us with contact information if needed. I would definitely use biketours.com again

Bergen to Sognefjord: Cycle Norway's Greatest Landscapes
This was a beautiful trip start to finish. Merete, the local operator, was fantastic and even personally drove us to the airport when we returned our bikes. They were wonderful people and very accommodating.
The bikes were in great condition and performed without any issues. The waterfalls and fjords were gorgeous from start to finish and the terrain was very manageable with only slight hills for the most part. Accommodations were charming. Dolomites to Trieste via Lake Bled at the Foot of the Julian Alps
A gorgeous trek through the Dolomites and the Julian Alps. Charming hotels, a well-designed route, and beautiful scenery, combined to make this a terrific trip. We improvised several times (e.g. choosing to ride instead of taking the transfer) and the tour company accommodated us without a problem. We had a couple of issues along the way (luggage handle broke off, e-bike fender needed adjustment at a bike shop) but otherwise the trip went off without a hitch. We took an extra day at Lake Bled which was well worth it. Overall, quite pleased with the bikes, the route, and the Hotels.
