Beautiful scenery
Bolzano – Verona – Venice
Generally beautiful ride on good paths or tertiary roads. The optional hilly routes on two days were an excellent choice for variety and scenery. Lots of great suggestions to explore history and architectural sites along the way. Riva del Garda area segment was very hyped.

Great trip and Great Route
Tauern Bike Path (Salzburg-Salzburg)
A little rough at the beginning since the communication with the local tour group was non-existent (not boketours.com fault). Some hockups with the initial the baggage transportation and bike lock. However, everything else went flawlessly. It was wonderful doing this route and just showing up to the next hotel with our bags already there. Absolutely beautiful route the entire time and the accomodations were very nice.

Mosel - wine wine everywhere whine!!!
Mosel Bike Path: Dreamy Mosel Valley from Trier to Koblenz
Beautiful weather and scenery, great hotels (4-5 star by European standards, riesling wine fields nonstop for 5 days. Berg Eltz Castle worth the effort and cost. Had a few "hiccups" from the Pedalo folks, but BikeTours came to the rescue. We first attempted this trip as our first BikeTours trip almost 11 years ago. However, we were late to the party and everything was booked for the time period we chose. So we finally made Too many positive things say about this trip. Just do it!!!!

Emerald Tour of Slovenia’s Gems
We has an absolutely wonderful experience on our bike tour. This was our third trip with BikeTours.com, and once again, they did not disappoint.
The bike trail was fantastic, the food was fabulous, and the towns were peaceful and scenic. We had perfect weather, enjoyed beautiful stops along the way, and felt safe throughout the entire journey.
We took advantage of most of the suggested stops along the way and were so glad we did. We also spent a couple of extra days in Ljubljana and Piran. Both destinations were wonderful additions to the trip, giving us more time to gear up and wind down.
The bikes were high-quality and comfortable, and the Guibo app worked perfectly. It made navigating the route easy and stress-free. Traveling self-guided gave us the freedom to enjoy each day at our own pace while still having everything we needed right at our fingertips.
It was the perfect combination of adventure, relaxation, great food, beautiful scenery, and time with friends. After three great trips with BikeTours.com, we’re already looking forward to our next adventure!

Slovenia is a gem
Emerald Tour of Slovenia’s Gems
Our trip through Slovenia was perfectly organized, lovely and interesting. Ljubljana surprised us with its vibrancy and beauty. Piran is an absolute gem. In between was lovely countryside and interesting stops including the Lipica Stuff Farm, the massive Postjona Cave, the fascinating Predjama Castle. Something new each day. We were given excellent e-bikes and luggage service was perfect.

Castle Corridor - Rhine River Valley
Rhine Bike Path: Mainz to Cologne
Castle after Castle. Wine, Wine, Everywhere Wine!!! Velociped App was sensational guiding us on the route, getting us to our specific hotel, sites to see along the way. A few bike issues on the front end but Velociped finally took care of it. BikeTours followed up to make sure all was well. Hotels were 4 and 5 star (by European standards) with the exception of Hotel Sum Adler in Bad Godesberg. Good hotel, clean, good breakfast, but our room was the size of a phone booth! We actually had a bit of a chuckle about it. We were blessed with perfect weather for the entire ride. Rheinfels Schloss Hotel is a must!!!!!

Enjoyable, but not one of the best
Lake Constance Bicycle Path
This was our 8th or 9th bike tour in Europe, most booked thru Biketours.com. They always do a great job with a a shout out to Taylor, who is asked responsive. We enjoyed the tour, but compared to others, It fella bit flat in some areas. Lake Constance was beautiful, hotels (category K) were great, but the paths were not as interesting as we’ve experienced on other tours. Although we had nice views of the lake most of the time, some of the paths were they more industrial zones and railroad tracks. Not bad, but not 5 star.

Lake Bike Tour
Lake Constance Bicycle Path
The tour was very well organized. The lake was very low due to a lack of rain, so probably not as scenic as it would otherwise have been. The hotels in Switzerland were very pedestrian and should definitely be upgraded. Also, the bags didnt always arrive timely when we got to the hotels in the afternoons. Apart from that, we enjoyed the trip and it went very smoothly.

Amazing fun family trip
Lake Constance Bicycle Path
Wife and I went with two teenagers. We all enjoy physical activity and seeing new things. This was a wonderful fit for us. We really enjoyed the biking and exercise and getting to our next hotel and town to enjoy amazing accommodations and sites. We (me) opted for going old school without e-bikes, foot power only. It all worked out but there are some hills and a few steep inclines along the way and one or two days of longer miles. Paying extra for the e-bike would have been good in hindsight, at least for my wife. It allows you some more time at sites along the way or at destination town to explore.

Danube Bike Path 7 Nights (Classic)
A gorgeous, scenic Bike Tour with excellent accommodations and great food! The path is as they say, flat and paved, though there are a few ups and downs when going in and out of the towns. Highly recommend!

One of my best tours ever!
Tauern Bike Path (Salzburg-Salzburg)
This was a self-guided tour. Bikes provided. Bikes were of good construction, 20spd disc brakes and mostly sufficient. We had to walk up hills a few times although the vast majority of the route was along the river or riding downhill. However you will want to train for this ride and it is not for beginners unless you go electric. Highlights were the constant incredible views, cute Austrian villages with delicious bakeries. Flowers on the homes were extraordinary and the hotel accommodations and food were top notch!

Emerald Tour of Slovenia’s Gems
Self guided - loved the freedom. Saw a side of Slovenia we otherwise would not. So many hills! Only issue was my initial bike was too small (and was changed before we left) and my male partner was given a women's bike (large) which was too small. Received in Ljubljana and the person issuing did not notice. We realised after a couple of days and by then too late to do anything. It was weekend.

Peaceful Mosel
Mosel Bike Path: Dreamy Mosel Valley from Trier to Koblenz
Riding along the Mosel was peaceful, beautiful, and fascinating. To see the ingenuity, commitment, and caring of vineyards on the steep inclines of the bluffs along the Mosel created amazement and interest. The trail at time were easy enough to allow a lot of gazing. However, there were also paths with surprises, i.e. blind turns that suddenly led to a steep incline, rather narrow paths along side the road, and sometimes narrow gravel paths. But, some of that, I guess, can be expected. We did have trouble downloading the navigation system and called Pedalo Company for help. Johannas came to the rescue, but with much effort to get us setup. We were very pleased with all the hotels except for our last one, Mecure Hotel in Koblenz, it was adequate, but we were quite spoiled by the others and the standard was not quite as high as the previous ones. A bigger problem at the Mecure was their inadequate bike storage, i.e. the bike cage had no electrical outlets for eBikes, so, the hotel had to store the bikes in a different area until charged and we could only charge one at a time. Upon the completion of charging, we had to take the bikes down to the bike cage. Another problem with the Pedalo agenda was the wine tasting. There was little help in telling us if we could bike or walk there, it was difficult to find, and the tour guide of the tasting said she would translate her 45 min. presentation in English now and then, but failed to. I was able, with my limited German, to understand most of it, but my friend was unable to and was, therefore, left out of the information. The wine we tasted was excellent, however! FYI, at Hotel Kessler Meyer in Cochem, do not trust google maps to get you to the hotel. It takes you to a dead end after a very steep street incline. Call the hotel for an easier way. In spite of those concerns, the trip down the Mosel was beautiful and overall thoroughly enjoyed.

The Magnificent Dolomites
Bicycle Paths of the Dolomites (based in one hotel)
This a dream place, if mountains are your pleasure! The paths are well marked and take you through some glorious scenery! We stayed at Hotel Laurin, which is a family owned hotel that works to accommodate its guests. Returning to the same hotel after a day of riding and then enjoying the sauna, pool, and lounging areas adds to the rejuvenating aspect of the vacation. But one of the best things about Hotel Laurin is the fantastic 5 course dinners and the wonderful breakfasts. I would also like to praise the USA’s BikeTours staff who are very responsive and work to answer all your concerns. Can’t say enough good about this choice for a great vacation!
