Great Crete Trip
Aegean Discovery: Cycling through Eastern Crete
Well-curated trip with right balance of gorgeous and varied scenery (mountains, orchards, seaside/ocean views), archeological sites, daily distances, and elevation changes. Bicycles were in tip-top shape to tackle hills and valleys, and routes were easy to follow with the Ride with GPS. Accommodations were well above average for 3 star hotels, and breakfast offerings (especially Greek yogurt with preserved fruits) were divine. Only small glitches on the time of bike delivery/outfitting on day 1.

Awesome Trip
Greece's Ionian Islands by Bike & Boat
We loved our guides, Jack and Giota. The start of our trip had some rough seas delays, but they were very adept at figuring out alternative activities on the days we couldn’t sail. The food cooked by Nondas was excellent!

A nice ride from the mountain
Kefalonia Ainos Mountain Bike Tour
Our guide was great, so are the views. No need of big experience, it is considered quite easy for MTB-riders.
Keep in mind that you have to go back to the top for your car. We took a taxi and that costs us 45 euros.- What was the date of your tour?

Fabulous way to see and experience Eastern Crete
Aegean Discovery: Cycling through Eastern Crete
Our group of 6 friends enjoyed the challenge of cycling Eastern Crete.
Electric bikes helped us climb the rugged mountains where the scenery was breathtaking.
The tour took us to busy towns and quiet villages; Past turquoise waters and hills covered in spring flowers or olive trees.
We saw sheep and goats. Smelt the wild herbs growing on the side of the road.
We ate slow cooked lamb and a variety of fish. Creamy yoghurt and local honey. Wild greens, fresh salads Cretan pies and gyros.
The freshly squeezed orange juice is a must.
The Cretan hospitality is amazing - including dessert and Raki!
Everything went as planned. The app was accurate. Luggage transfers were on time.
This is a great way to see the real Crete.

Amazing way to see Crete
Aegean Discovery: Cycling through Eastern Crete
Overall this is an amazing way to see an amazing island. The hotels were all nice with good breakfasts, and all of the planning and logistics went quite smoothly. The tour company was quite responsive and helpful when issues arose. Definitely get an E-bike though, there are tons of hills on Crete! The days were all quite manageable with an E-bike. The route went through a nice mix of villages, countryside and along the Ocean. The route is entirely on roads (no bike paths), some of which were a bit busy at times. There are a few touristy things to see along the way each day as well which was nice.

Breathtaking scenery, challenging ride
Aegean Discovery: Cycling through Eastern Crete
Crete is a wonderful island. There is history and ruins, scenery , varied climate from desert to sea, to fertile valleys. The people I met were all wonderful. I did the 14 day option and it was off season. I was the only person .Most of the place closes on October 31. There are 2-3 very challenging climbs on a daily basis. If you are a recreational rider, choose the ebike. On my final day it took me 1.5 hrs to do the first 4.5 km climb. I ride an hour a day and it was challenging, but exhilarating. Weather is wonderful, food is great , accommodations were very well appointed and had fabulous locations. The app has some hiccups, like a peculiar estimate of 1/2 km and a tendency to stop a distance from the hotel. This may have been due to the off season nature and the usual hotels not being used, but it was very disconcerting at the end of a ride to be searching for the hotel. The local travel company was great in helping with difficulties I encountered. Overall though, it was a wonderful combination of exercise and touring and discovering a fabulous place .

20th Anniversary Trip
Cultural Splendors of the Peloponnese and Saronic Isles E-bike and Boat
Our expectations were exceeded. We knew we would love to see the countryside this way, and indeed it was fabulous to see the more remote areas that most tourists never experience. And the staff blew us away. I felt so cared for. Every need was accommodated. The staff had such a positive attitude which is noteworthy for how hard they work. It made it a really special experience that we will cherish.

Amazing experience!
Greek Island Adventure by Bike and Sail
What an incredible trip! The team on board was fantastic — always thinking ahead and making everything smooth. The atmosphere was warm and friendly, and the cabins were super comfy and spotless.
We cycled 20–60 km a day, exploring stunning views of Greece — olive groves, crystal-clear sea, quiet roads, and amazing beaches you couldn’t reach on foot. Morning yoga helped stretch our muscles and get ready for the day.
The food was incredible — never the same twice, with choices between fish and meat, plus fresh berries, fruits, and treats. Highlights included lamb and langoustines. October was perfect — great weather, gorgeous nature, and peaceful towns. Highly recommend this tour for anyone who loves cycling, nature, and the sea!

Fantastic Trip

I have been on several bike and boat tours. This past week on the ship Running on Waves was certainly a cut above. The ship was immaculate, staff was over the top helpful and catered to everything we could possibly need. Our bike guide Alex was excellent and our rides beautiful, challenging and interesting. 5 + stars.

The perfect way to explore the Greek islands!
The instructor Alex was excellent with the great knowledge of e bikes and the routes troughs the amazing sceneries of the Greece islands.

I was incredibly impressed by the itinerary. Beautiful islands, a wonderful guide who shared such interesting facts about the sights, history, and archaeology.
He showed us the most interesting spots on the islands. And he planned the routes in a way that was comfortable for everyone—both for those who move a bit slower and for those who prefer a faster pace. The whole group was full of enthusiasm.We covered between 20 and 60 kilometers every day. We had scenic coffee stops, went for swims, visited an olive museum, temples, and historical places—spots where the average tourist doesn't set foot, which was very important.
After that, we had a great time on the ship. The crew entertained us with various activities, like climbing the mast, culinary masterclasses, knot-tying workshops, ship exploration, a tour of the engine room, visit to the bridge.
We all became friends, exchanged phone numbers, and really hope to return again and again for new routes. It was absolutely fantastic!🤩 recommend to everyone!!

The perfect trip. A combination of adventure, boating, biking and community - wonderful people, places and activity. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and genuinely friendly. The food was excellent. The bike trips educational as well as great exercise! I would take this trip again anytime.

Nice tour through some of the less visited islands near Athens.
Enchanting Cyclades and Saronic Islands
Nice relaxing boat tour to less visited small islands. The crew that ran the boat was wonderful and the food was very good. The boat itself was very nice, so nice you had to take your shoes off when getting on the boat. Some cabins had problems with mosquitoes at night when trying to sleep. The terrain on the islands was mountainous so the E-bikes were very needed. Very Scenic roads. little traffic.
The schedule of what islands you visit does change depending on the weather. One thing I did not like was that the riding most days did not start until 3:30 pm. this was in Oct. and it stared getting dark before the ride was done a couple of times and theses bike had no lights or reflectors.- What was the date of your tour?
