Well, done
Turkish Riviera - Cruise and Bike the Lycian Coast
This trip truly exceeded our expectations. The bikes were in great shape. The staff was very knowledgeable and considerate. Our tour lead, the great Allie, was very well informed and interesting at the various stops without being a licensed guide.
Both my wife and I love the small plates, similar to tapas.Only one negative we never did get the sales up.

Amazing way to travel!
Bruges – Amsterdam by Bike and Boat
Can’t wait to go on another trip! The barge was comfortable, food tasty, guide and staff wonderful and I really enjoyed the whole itinerary. The fortified cities shaped like stars were so unique and I enjoyed sailing on the boat, enjoying a happy hour glass on the deck after a long day biking.

Best Trip ever!
National Parks of Dalmatia by Bike/E-bike and Boat
This trip was just an AMAZING experience. It was my first time in Croatia (as well as on the bike&boat tour), and I fall in love with this country. Our beautiful guides were always so positive and supportive - for that we are very grateful.
There were times when I was too tired from cycling uphill (I was using the regular bike), and our guide Srdian was helping me by pushing myself up (with the help of the e-bike) - we made a great team :)
The whole trip was very well planned, every day was reach of diverse experience, new places, amazing views. And the food on board - YUMMY!
I loved EVERYTHING in this trip except of one tiny thing - waking up at 7:30 in the morning was a bit tough as I'm totally not an early person.Thank you for having such a great experience! Hope to see you again!

Outstanding trip
Pearls of Dalmatia by Bike and Boat, Romantica
My wife and I took the Romantica from Dubrovnik to Split and had an excellent time! The three guides were outstanding: knowledgeable and extremely personable. We only had 12 people in our group, so there was lots of room on the boat to wander around. The city walking tours were a nice addition. The hills are a real climb, most of our group were on e-bikes but I started the trip on a peddle-bike. After 3 days I switched to an e-bike and really preferred it, would recommend e-bikes.

Bike and Barge Adventure
Amsterdam – Bruges by Bike and Boat – Magnifique II (and reverse)
A wonderful week of fresh air, exercise, amazing food, beautiful scenery, and great people.
We cycled through small towns, across farmland, and into large cities. The scenery was spectacular. Having to stop to wait for 100 cows to move from one field to another was a quirky countryside highlight. Traveling down 31 metres by elevator, then cycling through a 521 metre long tunnel under the River Scheldt, and returning to surface level on escalators was a large city highlight.
All of the crew were dedicated, cheerful, and knowledgeable. One of our guides was from Belgium (Jordy) and other from the Netherlands (Hetty) and the friendly banter between them was fun. Hetty shared stories relating to many sights and Jordy bought us local treats to taste.
The host (Vio) and hostess (Sophie) were always ready to help out and were incredibly kind. The chef (Steven) prepared amazing meals and there was always delicious food available. No losing weight, despite the physical activity. When we returned to the barge or watched it sail by as we rode, the crew smiled and waved at us, making us feel like family.
I would highly recommend this trip.

Wonderful vacation
Bruges – Amsterdam by Bike and Boat
Great food, great new friends, beautiful countryside. Memet and Tom were funny, caring, and knowledgeable guides. The whole boat crew was very attentive and friendly. The chef did a fire dance one night, in addition to preparing excellent food. We definitely are planning for more bike and boat trips, based on this wonderful first experience.

An amazing experience

Boat bike is the way to see Croatia, the whole experience was fantastic, comfortable accommodation on the boat, fantastic crew who couldn’t do enough for us, and excellent food.

Provence by Bike and Boat
We absolutely enjoyed our stay on the Caprice. Georgio was our guide and I don't think we could have enjoyed anyone better. He is very knowledgeable and witty! We would love to ride another tour with him in the future. We were a group of 5 and we all had the best experience. The Caprice staff treated us very well. The ship was always clean and comfy. The post ride snacks were perfect after riding in 97-degree weather every day. All the food was more than we expected, and we were thrilled with the vegetarian options for those of us that are veggie preferred people!
Still going thru all the photos and reliving the trip. We made great memories and hope to meet up with Georgio again in the near future. Thank you all for this very memorable trip.- Countries included in this tour?

Best ever bike and barge tour!
Exploring the Neckar and Rhine Rivers and Valleys
We have been on five bike and barge excursions in Europe and this trip was by far the best ever experience in so many ways. Fantastic !
Our trip route had to be rerouted shortly before we started because a lock on the Neckar River was not working properly so no boat traffic was allowed. Instead we biked from Wurzburg to Mainz. The crew must have worked overtime to make modifications for our journey and should be commended for this effort.
The Merlijn barge is without a doubt a classy vessel. The barge was remodeled recently and it was truly a pleasure to travel on it. The beds were comfortable and the room spacious. The bathroom as well had nice shower and other upgrades like the lighted and fog free mirror. Plugs for devices were numerous and handy. Storage plentiful.
The crew of five were all very accommodating and hard working. They were a real team and this helped to create a very positive atmosphere. I can’t say enough about how each crew member helped to make the trip so memorable
The food was gourmet. Each day we started with a healthy breakfast ; we received a packed lunch. When returned from biking we had snacks and were WOWED with outstanding dinners. Truly incredible service and hospitality.
The biking paths were mostly paved and our stops in the small towns and villages for breaks and lunches were so much fun because you get the opportunity to see Germany. Thomas our leader was experienced and always concerned about safety. The riders had helmets outfitted with technology so he could communicate as we rode giving directions, cautions and interesting
points of interest. A review of the next days ride was explained after dinner each night. Almost every evening after dinner Thomas took us for an excursion around the town where we were docked. Because our riding route was changed Thom had to scramble to re familiarize himself with the path so he should get extra credit for this effort. There were 24 on this tour and it was well organized with safety a priority. ( I personally prefer smaller groups).
The route itself was fine especially given the last minute modifications. The paths well marked and very few challenges. Cobblestones in the towns we visited do require riders to be mindful.
We loved the trip. Our fellow passengers were very friendly and upbeat.

Tulip Tour - Bike & Boat Holland's Famous Tulip Fields
Everything about this trip was wonderful. The Iris was comfortable with plenty of room for our belongings - unpack once! Food was superior, crew was fun and friendly, guides personable and knowledgeable. Scenery, routes, stops were all fantastic. Highly recommend.

Danube Waltz
Danube Delights: Biking through Four Countries
The bike and barge (SS Swiss Crown) provided the perfect way to experience the beautiful cities along the Danube. The Swiss Crown was very comfortable and the meals provided were delightful. The bar was managed expertly. Phyo behind the bar was always willing to provide valuable tips for our travel as well as keeping the cocktails flowing.

Perfect in every way!
Venice to Mantova by Bike and Boat (and reverse)
We enjoyed this tour immensely and would recommend it to anyone wanting a small, personable, tailored tour of some of the most amazingly old and historical parts of Nothern Italy. The bike riding was the best way to see some "out of the crowd" hidden gems, covering much more than able to on foot. The bikes were fantastic, well maintained and easy to ride and adjust if needed. The cabins were comfortable, well setout with ensuite and air conditioning. Ample supplies of food and breakfasts, and deliciously cooked dinners at night made the evenings very relaxing. Drinks aboard were very reasonably priced and tea and coffee never ending. Tour Leaders and all boat crew were totaly amazing! A thoroughly enjoyable holiday!

Great bike and boating trip!
Bruges – Amsterdam by Bike and Boat
Our guide Seitse was terrific - very knowledgeable about the areas and routes. The crew on board Sailing Home made us feel very welcome and the food was excellent. The riding was quite pleasant (very flat almost everywhere) such that we rarely turned on our ebikes. Overall, it was a great way to see parts of Belgium and the Netherlands.

Danube Delights: Biking through Four Countries
This was our first ever bike trip and we loved every minute of it. The boat was wonderful and the staff was truly outstanding. Each day was well organized with enough structure so we knew what to do but enough freedom to make the trip our own. The rides each day were unique from each other and each one beautiful. The rest days in Budpest and Vienna were magical. The food, service and attention to detail left nothing to be desired. What an amazing trip.

An amazing trip!

This was my first organized bike trip, and the bar has now been set incredibly high! I had an amazing experience. The boat was a delightfully comfortable home for the week after biking. The guides, Arnold and Marie-Jose, were knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. The food was outstanding!
