Superb Trip!
Venice to Trieste and Istria
A splendid way to see the world! This bike tour was our first but certainly not our last. We were a group of 10 friends ranging in age from 49-56. The ride was challenging at times but absolutely spectacular. We are not avid cyclists and some of the group used the electric bikes; this was a great option especially on the hills. The hotels were great, for the most part the food was good too, and the luggage transfers were seamless. This tour is very well organized and the local tour company is always reachable.

Incredible Journey!!💕
Venice to Trieste and Istria
Such a great experience! Yes challenging both the riding and navigating but rewarded with great food and gelato! The hotels were all good and comfortable with great breakfasts. Every community was so cute. Would recommend a lay over night to recoup, enjoy the community and give time for your chamois to dry!? Great experience. I was impressed by how bike friendly the route was on bike paths, along canals and use of rails to trails. Also I felt drivers were very aware of cyclists. The tour company (Anthony) was very accommodating when we had an issue with shifting and brought another bike to us.

Venice to Trieste and Istria
We travelled - just my husband and myself. The app gave great directions for us to follow. The routes were lovely- very little time on busy roads. The hotels were great. Clean and friendly. Our favourite stop was Piran in Slovenia. We got to know the others on the same trip as us. It was great to share experiences at the end of the day. Only thing I would change for me is I would not go for an ebike next time. Found it very heavy and not suited to some of the terrain.

Venice to Trieste and Istria
Incredible trip, it was well organized and a smooth experience. The destinations were perfect, with a beach almost every day to relax after cycling. The flexibility of the trains and boats to cut down kms as desired was excellent to ensure each day was enjoyable. Note that the route map brings you from city to city and then with your own GPS to get to the exact hotel, this can add up to 10 extra km in addition. Go for the adventure, cycling and the wonderful food along the way, each day was a lovely surprise!

Back to Socialism Bike Tour Zagreb
It was a great ride around town with interesting commentary. We've been on tons of bike tours in many countries. This one had fewer stops, and longer talking at the stops. Guide was able to answer any and all questions, and we learned a lot about the city and country.

Fernando was a great guide, very knowledgeable and relaxed, and the ride itself is pretty easy. In Rome we went with ebikes but it's really not necessary here.

We had a rainy day but a fantastic ride into the country. First time using e-bikes and they were very helpful with the many hills. The wine tasting was very informative and fun. A great way to see and learn about the history of the fertile valley of the Konovale region. We saw Roman aqueducts, a 300yr old tree in the courtyard of a church, a terrific overlook from the cliffs above the Adriatic Sea and the a delightful lunch stop at family vineyard. Highly recommend this day bike tour.

Unique activity from Dubrovnik, made better by wine!!
Dubrovnik Bike Tour with Wine Tasting
We were so excited for this excursion and it lived up to our expectations. Igor was truly the best guide - he was so easy to chat with, shared so many facts about the region with us, and also was the best bike support. Two members of our group were not strong bikers, and he helped give confidence for the ~1-2 hour ride. Even better than that - he took photos of us while biking, helping our Strava posts after!! On some of the tough uphills, Igor was a great coach for the gear changes and general motivation. My legs were burning but it was fun.
This trip was so easy (with the exception of some uphills on the bike...) from being picked up right outside of our apartment to having the bikes set up for us, and finally getting a really cool tasting at the winery. We had a great time at the winery and really enjoyed talking with Nico. He was equally intelligent in his realm about Rakya and wine, and we really had a great experience there. I brought back a few bottles for friends and family after, which I'm very excited to forget to share with them...
Overall a great trip. While we expected a cutesy girly ride through wineries with a glass in hand, this was an even cooler adventure. We started off with the ~1-2 hour bike ride, which then made the winery a tasty reward. Plus, lots of food there to fill our bellies!! Highly recommend if you have an extra day in Dubrovnik and want to do something adventurous.
