Leisurely luxury through classic Europe
Amsterdam – Bruges by Bike and Boat – Princesse Royal
I went on this tour as a BikeTours.com staff member. I was excited to check out this ever-popular bike and boat tour because our clients usually give it rave reviews. Now I know why!
Biking is such a part of Dutch culture, so we got to explore the country like the locals live it while benefiting from great infrastructure (dedicated bike paths, good signage, friendly drivers). The landscapes were charming: gardens around every cottage, wide green fields divided by canals, windmills. The Belgian countryside was also beautiful and you're often following river paths, but the Netherlands' villages stole my heart.
The cycling is leisurely: flat, distances not too long, plenty of breaks for snacks and stretching. The guide was great, but my friend and I decided to go off on our own a couple of days, armed with the route numbers that the group would be following so we could catch up to them if needed and find our way back to the boat. We got a bit lost one day on our own, but that became its own adventure and we didn't mind at all.
The Magnifique is cozy. The cabins are small (as expected) but comfortable, the dining room and bar are nice communal spaces for relaxing with new friends, and the hot tub on deck is the very best place to watch the passing scenery! The food is excellent, and the guide took us on a walking tour each night after dinner to learn about whichever city we were docked in overnight.
The thing I like the least about touring is having to pack and unpack every day, so it was a small luxury to be able to unpack on day 1 and not think about bags again since we were in the same cabin all week.

Beautiful!
Dolomites to Trieste via Lake Bled at the Foot of the Julian Alps
This is a gorgeous route that really lets you see the changing terrain and cultures as you bike from the Dolomites down to the sea. It's gorgeous throughout, but the highlight is definitely Bled and we were glad to take the extra day there to explore some of what it has to offer.

Beautiful and Well-Organized Tour
Catalonia's Region of Empordà by Gravel Bike
We had a fantastic time on this tour. For one thing, the scenery is great, and being on gravel for a lot of the time means you get to appreciate it a bit more than we have on more road-oriented tours where we have to pay more attention to traffic.
In particular the scenery along the coasts was great, and it was obvious that great care had been taken with the routes so that we'd get to see some of the best that the Costa Brava has to offer.
Perhaps our favorite part of the tour was the local operator. They were extremely helpful and easy to reach, and always stayed in touch to make sure that everything was going well. On a day with bad weather they specifically gave us some routing tips to make sure that we'd stay safe. They also were very well organized with how they provided the routes via Ride with GPS that made it really easy to see the recommended sites and restaurants in the towns we passed through.

Wine & Bike in Hungary’s Balaton Uplands
I want to start with appreciation for our in country tour operator. Gabor and his team went out of their way to make us feel at home (historical briefing, welcome drink, bottle of wine) in his country and to administer to all of our needs. (the weather was so bad one day (rain, 25 mile per hour winds, cold) that he arranged transportation to get us from one hotel to another). The countryside was beautiful and the route was easy to follow. The availability of bike paths for most of the trip was an added benefit. Very little road travel. The accommodations were well situated and excellent. The meal plan that we chose was a life saver. The food was very good and after a long ride, it's nice to have a drink, relax and eat in one place. We spent one night at a winery and that was special. We tasted all their varieties and then had the best meal of the trip. Having the opportunity to talk with the staff in a home setting was also special. The length and level of difficulty was as advertised and did not exhaust our 70 something group.

It was a good way to see parts of Belgium and The Netherlands. The bike were quality; the Ride GPS was a great assist; the accommodations were clean and ambl; the food was tremendous; and the guides and boat staff were knowledgeable, helpful and fun.

Bruges City Bike Tour

Great family bike tour
Romantic Road from Würzburg to Donauwörth
This tour was perfect for myself, husband, and 15 year old son. It was a perfect mix of scenery, history, and nature. We really enjoyed exploring each town and all the stops in between. All the hotels and breakfast each morning were great (we took the upgrade). Finally, skipping the dinner plan was a good idea because it let us explore many more options each night.

A fun and educational ride around Bucharest with Dan (the best guide)
Highlights of Bucharest Bike Tour
Firstly, Dan is an excellent guide! He is very knowledgeable, funny, knows a lot of fun facts, and also very friendly, welcoming and approachable.
The tour was great fun, but also a bit unusual compared to other bike tours I’ve done—since Bucharest doesn’t have many dedicated bike lanes and most main attractions are in the city center or Old Town, we spent a large part of the tour cycling on sidewalks. It was an interesting experience, but I would love if in the future the tour includes more rides through parks or areas with more space for cycling.The tour was interactive, and we learned a lot. On top of that, Dan shared a large number of recommendations related to Bucharest, Romania, Romanian movies, books, culture and more—I really appreciate that effort, and it’s clear that Dan truly loves his job and does it perfectly.
I recommend this tour to everyone. Even though it’s a bit unusual because most of the riding is in the city center and Old Town, that’s also part of its charm. We all thoroughly enjoyed the tour, and it’s a fantastic way to get to know Bucharest.

Justin was an excellent guide!
Hidden Gems of Nashville E-Bike Tour
We had Justin as the guide for my group, and he was very knowledgeable and a lot of fun. I also felt very safe with him, which was very important while riding the busy streets. I would highly reccomend this tour as a fun way to see a good part of Nashville. In talking to members of other tour groups, their guide was not as knowledgeable as Justin, but they still had an excellent experience.

Memorable and recommended!
Portugal's Atlantic Coast
Fantastic trip! 197 miles on the hybrid route with e-bikes. Hotels were all top notch and included buffet breakfast was a treat. Recommend wet weather gear if going early season. Skip the gps but bring an external battery pack. Bike tour staff were fantastic and extremely helpful. If you stay in Sintra I recommend you leave as early as possible o avoid the tour buses and other traffic.

A trip we will never forget!
Danube Family Tour 7 Nights
We recently returned from this tour and can say on behalf of our entire family that we were completely WOWed by the experience. Austria is really special and we were so happy to be able to explore it by bike. I don't think we would have enjoyed it in the same way if we had simply rented a car and toured around. We did find that the average mileage each day was a bit longer than we had anticipated. With a 7- and 9- year old, it really put them t the test but they were proud of themselves each evening when we reached our destination. We will absolutely recommend this to others!

Pure magic!
Danube Family Tour 7 Nights
This was our first bike trip as a family. Our girls were 7 and 8 at the time so it proved slightly challenging for them at moments but mostly just because our days were long. The experience was like magic and we genuinely enjoyed every town we stopped in. We were grateful to find food for our very picky eaters along the way (one of our biggest concerns going into the trip). We enjoyed the trip during apricot season was absolutely incredible. Our kids will never enjoy fresh juices in the way that we did in Austria ever again! We added a couple of extra nights in Vienna which was well worth it. Take the trip!

Great way to start our vacation in San Diego!
Best of San Diego E-Bike Tour
From the moment we walked up until the tour was over the staff was super friendly and gave us an engaging tour! The e-bikes were an amazing way to experience the city and our guide was super helpful and knowledgeable about the city! He gave us great recommendations for things to do and see. With two teen girls with us you never know how it’s going to go, but the both had a great time! My husband even said that it was the best tour he has ever been on and trust me when I say we have been on a lot of tours all around the IS and abroad!

We enjoyed everything about this tour! We’ve We have participated in afew bike trips now and this was the best so far. The beautiful scenery of Belgium and the Netherlands was like a painting. The towns we rode through were so pretty- it was rose and hydrangea season! Always a good beer or rose plus some kind of sweet specialty on offer! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the area and took time to get to know all of us. The Zwaantse barge was great- the captain and crew friendly and professional, the cook prepared excellent meals everyday! Couldn’t ask for a better week of riding!

Excellent trip
UNESCO Sites of Albania
The tour was very well organized by our local guide and his family. Our hotel and food stops were planned ahead of time and everything was ready as soon as we arrived; we didn't have to wait to eat or to get a shower! Food was plentiful and varied and our accommodations were very comfortable. The cycling part was a bit more challenging than expected but our group worked well together as half were on regular hybrid bikes and half on ebikes. Temperatures were perfect, if not a bit warm, for mid May. I definitely recommend the guided over self-guided for this trip as parts were remote and not a lot of services during the day.
