Life Changing!
Cycling the West Balkan Triangle
This trip will change how we vacation in the future!
There were 6 of us in our group, 5 on e-bikes, and 1 on a rode bike. We joined another group of 6 upon our arrival. Our guide Alex (Juro) provided us with a daily overview of the places we would be visiting and the terrain we would be covering. Our other guide was also Alex who followed behind the group in a van with our luggage and snacks. Together they helped to make the trip. They took our safety very seriously and shares some stories along the way of the places we were visiting. They were both engaging and worked hard to enhance our experience.
The ride covered all different types of terrain. We went on main roads, back quiet streets, flat roads, and covered grades as a steep as 12%. On an e-bike you took the hills at your own pace going both up and down. Juro would help guide the group, so we stayed together, and regrouped as needed. The important thing we all learned was to take time to enjoy the journey.
We stayed in lots of amazing places ranging from larger hotels to quaint 7 room hotels. The food and wine were wonderful everywhere we went, and the locals were so friendly. Lots of people spoke English and those who didn’t, Juro or Alex help as our interpreter.
The views were stunning. The pictures can’t begin to capture the breathtaking views of the mountains or along the sea. We were able to stop along the ride to take picture and Juro helped to make recommendations on where to stop for the best pictures.
The trip left us all wanting more. We agreed this trip changed how we want to vacation and explore other countries. We are already planning our next trip. Thank you to Juro, Alex, and BikeTours.com for a life changing experience.

Fun for everyone!
Baltic Capitals: Historic Cities of Vilnius, Riga and Tallinn
My brother and I chose this tour as away to meet in the middle between our travel styles - backcountry adventures and city explorations - without needing to stress about planning. We both had a great time! The tour stopped at well known highlights and less well known gems, all the guides were kind and incredibly knowledgeable. If another family member wanted to do it, I would happily join them for another round :).

Fabulous Way To Experience Provence!
Cycling Paradise of Provence - to and from Avignon
We had a wonderful 6 day self-guided cycle through Provence - the Biketours organisation was outstanding as were the e-bikes we hired. Our bags were collected on time every time and delivered to our next hotel with no issues. We downloaded our GPS files onto Komoot - the app worked brilliantly and the maps were detailed and accurate- 2 of our party downloaded the maps which ensured we stayed on the right path! We particularly enjoyed spending 2 nights in each town as it meant we didn't have to repack our bags every day. Most of the routes took us along lovely and well maintained cycle paths so we did not have to navigate too much through busy towns or big roads with lots of traffic. The ride was moderate as described - not too easy nor too difficult which left us feeling we had done enough exercise for the day without being exhausted. We took the standard package for the first and last hotels but upgraded the middle hotel (to Hotel Henri) which was well worth the extra spend as it was outstanding. The other 2 hotels, Hotel Central (Avignon) and Hotel L'Amandiere (St Remy) were decent - the rooms clean and spacious, however the staff were unfriendly. Hotel Central is well positioned allowing easy access to the old town. Hotel L'Amandiere is a 10min walk from town but has a very nice swimming pool - a great feature given the 40deg temps we were riding in! Just beware, if you arrive earlier than the 3pm check in, and you would like to use the pool, they are going to charge you an early check-in fee of around EUR25/room. All in all, a fantastic experience and one I would highly recommend. We thoroughly enjoyed being in the beautiful countryside and cycling up to the medieval villages without having to fight the traffic or the crowds.

Really enjoyed the trip. Beautiful route getting into rolling hills although not difficult to bike with great off-road bike paths almost the whole way. Hotels were great with plentiful breakfasts.

Danube
Danube Bike Path 8 Nights (Upscale Lodging)
My daughter and I loved the 7 day biking experience. The days were not too long. A great way to spend a week together exploring the Danube on a bike. Lots of opportunities to take in tourist destinations as well.

passed all my expectations.
UNESCO Sites of Albania
We had a group of 20 and we were all likeminded people who loved cycling. The E-bike we had was nearly brand new and were amazing and made the hilly cycling trip so much more enjoyable. The guide we had had was very experienced and helpful. I was sick for a few hours one day and I couldn't cycle and the leader organised for the support vehicle to pick me up and take me to the hotel.

Great biking trip
Bohemian Getaway: Villages, River Valleys & Karlstejn Castle
A wonderful ay to see part of the Czech Republic. We picked up the bikes in Prague and set off with GPX files which were excellent. The person who gave us the bikes was friendly and really knew his stuff. Setting off unsupervised and on the wrong side of the road was daunting, but following the GPX route on my Garmin made it all really easy. The cycling was easy (made more so by the e-bikes) and so we had plenty of time to stop off for coffee and to enjoy the scenery. The hotels were all of a good standard and eating out is very good value for money. Our first e-bike trip and we will definitely do another

Awesome trip from Passau to Vienna
Danube Bike Path 8 Nights (Upscale Lodging)
We had a great time. Glad we spent an extra night in Passau before starting the trip. Bikes were in great shape and we had no mechanical problems. We spent an extra night in Melk and added a stopover in Enns. We wish we had spent an extra night in Linz. The last day ride from Tulln to Vienna was the least attractive part --- and there was a strong wind in our face --- so that was a challenge. Those in our group who elected the ebike had no problems... I would highly recommend this trip....

Excellent Balkan cycling experience
Balkan Treasures
We did a self-guided tour using e-bikes. The rides were quite different each day. The destinations are varied and interesting, and the hotels were all good (3*). The local operator managed the logistics very well. Note there are three car transfers during this trip. Each of them is about 1.5 hrs. Whilst this extends the days, it does mean you get to experience some very different parts of the region. You do genuinely experience many Balkan treasures. Our highlights included cycling around the Bay of Kotor, cycling down the amazing switchbacks into Kotor on the last day, cycling through the hills alongside Lake Skadar, staying in Stari Bar and the food at Hotel Tradita in Albania.

Just stunning scenery and a great bike adventure
Romantic Road and Bavarian Lakes
Just loved cycling the romantic road. Acconodation were good, the scenery was spectacular. There was only one place are stayed with air conditioning. It was very hot at night so had trouble sleeping. Ask the breakfasts were great. The APP was amazing, made it very easy to find your way. So much to see and do just a brilliant time had but us. Bikes were comfortable and the panniers were fabulous for sorting extra gear. Briefing was good, however my bike didn't have some issues even before we started and Thomas had no tool kit with him and couldn't adjust our bikes. Bags picked to and delivered waiting for when we arrived.

Very well organised and efficient. Bikes were excellent and well maintained. Nothing seemed to be a problem even when I manage to leave my power adapter somewhere our guide went out of his way to find a replacement.

Awesome trip
UNESCO Sites of Albania
I rarely post reviews but wanted to share my experience with a recent cycling tour; the 10 day UNESCO tour of Albania. The tour was led by Armand and Mario. It was a fantastic experience. The tour was well organized, really well run, fun, the country beautiful, the local people friendly, the food incredible and quite varied. Our group of 19 were from many countries but really bonded well. The last days ride was unnerving for some due to strong winds and large vehicles; but the sag van was usually close behind if someone wanted to take a break. Not everything went perfectly, but Armand’s upbeat, energetic, and positive attitude in quickly handling the issues made things go quite smoothly. All in all; one of the very best, most enjoyable tours I have taken out of the 20+ to date.

Hot hot hot
Lake Garda (Based in One Hotel)
We knew that things can get very hot in Italy on august, so in 2012 me and my wife decided to book a Tour, where it is possible either cycle, or just spend time on the beach, if its too hot. We have heard that Lake Garda, and the hole area is very nice, so this Tour seemed perfect.
We flew from Helsinki to Milano, then we had a train, approximately 2 hours, from Milano to Lake Garda. Our hotel was nice little family hotel in Desenzado, with a nice little own beach. On the first day our tour-operator came to meet us and brought our bicycles, maps and other equipment.
As you know, it can be very hot, but its never too hot to cycle. Every morning we started from the hotel, and we had a nice cycling in the area. One day we took a train to Torino, and we cycled back, 80 km, temperature was 38 C, 100 F.
Best day we had, was when our tour operator took us with a van to Trento. From Trento we cycled to Riva, in the north part of Lake Garda, and in Riva we took bicycles to a ferry, witch took us back to Dezensano.
This is very easy Tour to recommend for anyone. If you don"t want to cycle, you can just relax and enjoy your holiday, good food and wine, and atmosphere.- How many tours have you completed?

Wow!! Spectacular Coastal Cycling in Southern Sardinia
Sardinia: A Mine of Memories
Southern Sardinia exceeded our expectations, offering an unforgettable combination of spectacular coastal scenery, crystal-clear beaches, charming seaside towns, and fantastic food. Every day brought something different, from dramatic cliffs and hidden coves to peaceful salt marshes and scenic coastal roads. The Cube e-bikes were comfortable and reliable, making the longer climbs and occasional headwinds far more enjoyable, while the Ride with GPS navigation made the route easy to follow with the flexibility to explore a few extra hidden gems along the way.
This tour is ideal for cyclists who are comfortable riding on roads with traffic, as there are very few dedicated bike paths. In return, you're rewarded with breathtaking scenery, authentic Sardinian hospitality, and plenty of opportunities to swim, relax, and enjoy the local cuisine. The local tour operator also provided excellent support throughout the trip, making the entire experience smooth and worry-free. We'd highly recommend travelling in May or late September/October when temperatures are cooler and the island is less crowded. It was a memorable cycling holiday that we would happily recommend to anyone looking to experience the beauty of southern Sardinia.
